NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on September 17, 2018 to take public testimony regarding ordinance 2018-12 approved on August 28, 2018 that repealed Ordinance 2018-2 and adopted new interim code revisions to OCC 17A.220 District Use Chart and OCC 17A.290 Cannabis Operations. The public hearing is scheduled to meet the procedural requirements found in RCW 36.70.795. The interim code revisions have been remanded to the Okanogan County Regional Planning Commission for additional review and development.
The public hearing will be conducted on September 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium in the Virginia Grainger Building in Okanogan, WA. Verbal testimony will be taken with a time limit of 3 minutes per speaker. Written comments may be submitted at the hearing. Written comments will be accepted prior to the hearing and may be submitted in writing or electronically to Lalena Johns, Clerk of the Board, at 123 5th Ave N Ste 150, Okanogan, WA 98840 or at ljohns@co.okanogan.wa.us.
Date of publishing is September 5 and 6, 2018.

OCC 17A.400.130 (1) WATER AVAILABILITY STUDY AREA
UPPER TUNK, LOWER TUNK, TAMARACK SPRINGS BASIN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on September 18, 2018 to take public testimony regarding ordinance 2018-13 approved on August 28, 2018 that adopted interim code revisions to OCC 17A.400 Water Availability Study Areas. The public hearing is scheduled to meet the procedural requirements found in RCW 36.70.795. The interim code revisions amend OCC 17A.400.130 by adding a new subsection 1 which identifies the Upper Tunk, Lower Tunk, and Tamarack Springs Basin in WRIA #49 as water availability study areas. The effect of this decision is to prohibit the application for land divisions during the time period of the study which is up to 2 years before further review.
The interim code revisions will undergo environmental review and be scheduled for additional public hearings before the Okanogan County Regional Planning Commission followed by the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners.
The public hearing will be conducted on September 18, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium in the Virginia Grainger Building in Okanogan, WA. LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT #1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2018-14 on August 28, 2018 creating Lake Management District #1. The Ordinance was adopted after verification that a simple majority of the ballots received voted yes to form the district.
This decision may be appealed by parties with standing in accordance with RCW 36.61.110. The appeal must be filed in writing with the County Legislative Authority and the Clerk of the Superior Court within 40 days of publication of the notice of final decision.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY that the town of Twisp Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Twisp Town Hall at 118 S. Glover Street. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony on proposed amendments to Chapters 18.10 Definitions, 18.20 General Regulations, and Appendix A District Use Chart. Amendments to Chapter 18.10 entail repeal and replacement of existing definitions and addition of new definitions. Amendments to Chapter 18.20 entail repeal of existing regulations regarding mobile, manufactured and modular housing and replacement with a replacement section provide residential development standards applicable to all residential uses along with minimum square footage requirements for new single family dwellings, new sections regulating the age of permissible manufactured homes, storage containers, amendments to clarify clear vision requirements and new regulations for microbreweries, breweries, distilleries and wineries. Amendments to Appendix A District Use chart include the addition of new uses corresponding with new definitions and modifications of permit requirements for some existing uses.
All interested persons are invited to attend and provide testimony regarding these amendments. Copies of proposed amendments are available on the Town’s website or at Town Hall from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday. All persons requiring assistance in accessing Town Hall or need other assistance are requested to contact Town Hall at 997-4081 prior to the hearing.
