Licensed acupuncturist Becca Stott recently opened her practice at the North Glover Healing Center in Twisp.
After getting to know the Methow over the last decade, Stott decided to leave Seattle, where she practiced for five years, and establish a new practice here.
Stott, a native of Vermont, opened her first acupuncture practice after receiving her master’s degree from The Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in 2007. She is also a certified Chinese herbalist and medical qi gong (energy work) practitioner, and has trained in craniosacral therapy.
Stott is also trained and certified as both a yoga teacher and a nutritional therapist and brings this knowledge base to her current practice. In addition, she is enrolled in a training program for Hakomi Therapy, a somatic, mindfulness-based psychotherapy which she will later add to her practice. Initial 20-minute consultations are free.
Stott is an avid skier with a background in Nordic racing and instruction, as well as other outdoor activities.
