Glover Street, Twisp, WA 98856, for proposals from qualified suppliers of solar-powered street lights. Sealed Base Bids must be received by July 18, 2018, @ 1:00 PM, and must be marked “Sealed Bid – Town of Twisp – Glover Street Solar Illumination”. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read at 1:00 PM on July 18, 2018.

NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2018-19 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Methow School District No. 350, Okanogan, County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a regular meeting on July 25, 2018, commencing at 5:30 PM in the district office, located at 18 Twin Lakes Rd., Winthrop, Washington. The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2018-19 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2018-19 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2018-19 budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2018-19 budget, the four year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240 (a/k/a Maintenance and Operations Levy). Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2018-19 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2018-19 budget, the four year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection. 2018-19 budget information is available on the District website methow.org or may be obtained by contacting the district office at 509-996-9205.

Sinlahekin Campground Renovations Shoreline Exemption 2018-8
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Anna Marie Sample on behalf of Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has submitted a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application (JARPA) for an Okanogan County Shoreline Exemption.
WDFW proposes to renovate 10 campgrounds on the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area located in Okanogan County between the towns of Loomis and Conconully. The scope of the project is to formalize camp sites by installing fire rings, picnic tables and leveling and regrading parking /camping spots and renovating pathways to existing vault toilets to be more accessible. Sites are currently used for recreational purposes. All upgrades are proposed within existing camping areas.
The project is located on the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area between Loomis and Conconully within Okanogan County.

OROVILLE RURAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT BALLOT PROPOSAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on July 30, 2018 to take public testimony regarding a resolution providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the Oroville School District No. 410, a proposition authorizing continuance of the property tax levy in an amount not to exceed $.50 per $1,000 assessed valuation for each of six consecutive years beginning in 2019 for the provision of Emergency Medical Services as provided in accordance with RCW 84.52.069.
If the Board decides to move ahead with the proposition, the County Auditor will be instructed to place the proposition on the November 6 General Elections ballot for the vote of the property owners within the Oroville School District No.410 to determine if the levy should continue for the provision of Emergency Medical Services.
The SEPA Responsible Official has determined this proposal is categorically exempt from environmental review in accordance with WAC 197-11-800 (14).
The public hearing will be conducted on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Okanogan County Commissioners Hearing Room. Verbal testimony will be taken with a time limit of 3-5 minutes per speaker. Written comments may be submitted at the hearing. Written comments will be accepted prior to the hearing and may be submitted in writing or electronically to Laleña Johns, Clerk of the Board, at 123 5th Ave N Ste 150, Okanogan, WA 98840 or at ljohns@co.okanogan.wa.us.

Wheeled All Terrain Vehicles
The Okanogan Board of County Commissioners has scheduled a public meeting to gather information regarding the drafting of a proposal to open certain county roads located primarily in Commissioner District #1 with a speed limit of 35mph or less to the use of WATV’s as defined in RCW 46.09.455. There will be a brief presentation and then a question and answer period. The information gathered will be used to finish drafting a proposal that will be put out for formal public review.
The meeting is scheduled for July 30, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.in the Commissioners Auditorium in the Virginia Grainger Building at 123 5th Ave N in Okanogan, WA.
