New old good times

June 28, 2018 by Methow Valley News

The visiting New Old Time Chautauqua troupe, augmented by local talent, entertained both outdoors and indoors in Twisp on Saturday. Activities included a parade that started at the Methow Valley Community Center after the farmers market, interactive workshops on the TwispWorks campus, and a “Really Big Show” in the community center gym in the evening. On Friday, the troupe visited Confluence Park in downtown Winthrop and offered workshops at Pearrygin Lake State Park, after which they hosted a potluck.

The New Old Time Chautauqua appearance was funded through grants and support from the Washington State Parks Foundation, Winthrop Kiwanis and other local sponsors.
