Linda L. Coe

June 27, 2018 by Methow Valley News

Linda L. Coe passed away on Nov. 18, 2017, at Omak Regency facility in Omak. Linda was born Nov. 26, 1949, to Martin and Hattie Northway in Des Moines, Iowa. At the age of 17 she left her family home and started on the adventure that landed her in Chicago, Illinois, and that is where she met and fell in love with her first love.

In 1969, Linda and her first love welcomed their first-born son, Richard. A year later they moved to California, where they welcomed their second son, Michael, in 1971. A few years later they decided to leave California and venture on into Washington, where they eventually ended up in Omak, and that is where they welcomed their third child, a daughter, Karen, born in 1978.

In 1988, Linda and her first love and father of her children decided to part ways. Linda ended up falling in love with Robert E. Coe in 1990 when they both said their wedding vows and where they both decided to plant their roots here in Twisp.

Linda is survived by her son Richard (Tiffany) Routien of Twisp; daughter Karen (Walter) Moore of Omak; and five grandchildren, Dyllon (Quincee) Routien of Seattle, Cooper and Macy Routien of Omak, and Kadence and Michaelee Moore of Omak. Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her son Michael, her parents and her two brothers.

Linda’s family would like to invite Linda’s friends and anyone who knew her to a special memorial barbeque to honor Linda’s memory on Saturday (June 30) at 61 Mundy Road, Twisp, at 1 p.m. Please feel free to bring along a side dish of your liking — it would be appreciated.
