
With great sadness the family of Ruth (Perry), (Warden), Grim announces her passing on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the age of 89.
A native of Winthrop, the second daughter of Carl and Lila Perry, Ruth graduated from Winthrop High School in 1945.
She worked for Doctor William Henry in Twisp for many years as his receptionist/office manager.
Ruth lived in the valley for a long time before moving to Oregon with her latest husband, Max Grim.
She loved to bowl and belonged to various leagues up until the age of 86. She enjoyed sewing and crafting along with camping, fishing, archery and rock hounding.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Smith of Wenatchee and her son Terry Warden (Sharon) of Mazama; three sisters Carol Pruett of Springfield, Oregon, Jean Card of Medford, Oregon, and Rosalie Hutson of Twisp. She will be fondly remembered by two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and three husbands.
Family services will be held at the Beaver Creek Cemetery Sunday, June 3, with a celebration of life potluck following at the Methow Valley Center in Twisp at 1 p.m.
