Parents and community members can learn about teaching kids to use technology wisely in the second presentation in the “Raising Balanced Children in a Digital World” series being put on by the Methow Valley School District.
Next week’s presentation is on digital citizenship and how families can find balance in the digital world. It will include ways parents can have deeper conversations with their children about digital tools.
The evening is geared to parents and other adult community members. Other events in the five-part series on Raising Balanced Children will include students.
The presentation is Monday (Jan. 22) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Liberty Bell High School cafeteria. The evening includes dinner from 5:30 to 6 p.m., a presentation from 6 to 6:45 p.m., and a chance to ask questions from 6:45 to 7 p.m. Child care will be provided.
