Valley Goods, a seasonal gift store offering local wares, opens at TwispWorks on Dec. 7

Handmade wares from Nice Nests, Molly’s Soaps and Emily Post Pottery.

Valley Goods, a seasonal gift shop at TwispWorks, debuts on Dec. 7 adjacent to Door No. 3 Print Studio, and will continue through Dec. 24.

The shop will feature hand-crafted, locally made wares including ceramics, art, jewelry, apparel and more, offered by more than 30 local vendors.

The shop will host several “Meet the Maker” special events, and art-making nights for kids of all ages.

Valley Goods will open its doors in conjunction with TwispWorks “Gear Up” event beginning at 4 p.m. on Dec. 7. The shop will be open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on weekends.

• Meet the Maker — Gabby Beaudin of Molly’s Soap, Dec. 13, 1 – 4 p.m. Meet the new face behind local soap brand Molly’s Soap and learn a little about soapmaking.

• Hands-on kids crafts with Laura Gunnip, Dec.14, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Kids of all ages welcome, by donation.

• Meet the Maker — Sara Ashford of Culler Studio, Dec. 20, 1 – 6 p.m. Learn about working with natural dyes and shop a wide selection of hand-dyed scarves and other beautiful, wearable art.

• Hands-on kids crafts with Laura Gunnip, Dec. 21, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Kids of all ages welcome, by donation.
