Other elections on Nov. 7 ballot

October 26, 2017 by Methow Valley News

Two positions on the Twisp Town Council are on the Nov. 7 general election ballot, with incumbents running unopposed for the four-year terms.

Alan Caswell is seeking election to council position 3, which he has held since January of 2016, when he was appointed to fill the seat after Traci Day resigned.

Aaron Studen is seeking re-election to council position 2, which he has held since November 2014 when he was appointed to the position after Cliff Estes resigned. Studen ran for election in 2015 to fill the remainder of Estes’ term.

One uncontested seat on the Okanogan County Fire Protection District 6 commission is on the ballot. The position is held by Jerry Palm, who has been a District 6 commissioner since 1994. Palm is seeking another six-year term on the three-person commission.
