Highway 20 work nearly done in Winthrop

July 5, 2017 by Methow Valley News

Winthrop is getting a break this week from repaving and related work on Highway 20 (Riverside Avenue) through the town. Work is expected to resume on Monday (July 10) and, if all goes as planned, conclude by the end of next week, according to Deputy Clerk Cindy Hicks.

Hicks said that striping, painting the intersection at the four-way stop, and other finishing details, will continue to cause periodic, flagger-controlled traffic delays next week.
