Camilia Jo (Johnson) Easley
1964–2017

March 16, 2017 by Methow Valley News

Camilia Jo (Johnson) Easley

Camilia Jo (Johnson) Easley, born June 11, 1964, to Phillis and Donald Johnson, passed away March 9, 2017, at North Hospice of Spokane in the presence of family and friends.

She was born at Dr. Henry’s office in Twisp, and raised from child to adulthood in Winthrop. After moving away for a period of time, she returned back to the valley in 1983 to raise her own children. Cammi then moved to Maine in 2006, where she had worked for the post office in Corinth, Maine. In 2008 she was dedicated to the Lord.

On Feb. 19, 2016, Cammi was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Babe Wenrick escorted her from Maine to Tucson, Arizona, to momentarily live with her sister Jaelynn where she underwent radiation and chemotherapy. On Dec. 23, 2016, she moved to Spokane to spend the rest of her days with her children while receiving excellent care from hospice and daily visits from family.

Cammi is preceded in death by her mother Phillis Johnson and her brother Clinton Rae Johnson. She is survived by her two children Clay Rogers of Twisp, and Rhea Ruiz of Spokane, and her three grandchildren.

Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Methow Valley, 20077 Highway 20, Twisp, WA 98856, for family and friends on June 10, 2017, at 2 p.m., with potluck to follow. Special thank you to Thomas Klemmeck, who donated the Calvary Church for the service.
