Patricia Anne Boley passed away peacefully on Nov. 8, 2016, the eve of her 62nd birthday in her home in Snoqualmie, Washington.
She fought cancer for six long years.
She is survived by all her family except her father and grandparents.
Patricia came to the Methow Valley in the summer of 1998 to work for the U.S. Forest Service while finishing college at Ellensburg. She quickly ran into an old friend, Peg Boley, in town and asked if she knew anyone to paddle with. Peg gave Patricia her brother Terry Boley’s contact information and the rest is history. They fell in love and were married at Makena Landing on the island of Maui in 2001. She helped finish raising Terry’s boys Aaron and Loren, built a house together on Sunflower Lane, and moved to Snoqualmie in 2007.
Patricia loved the outdoors in every form — paddling whitewater, sea kayaking, hiking and traveling. She was also a gifted florist and artist. She will be missed dearly.
