Standing with Standing Rock

About 100 people gathered at a vigil in Twisp on Tuesday (Nov. 15) in support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, who are seeking to block the Dakota Access Pipeline. They collected financial contributions and warm clothing and other supplies, which half a dozen Methow Valley residents plan to deliver to the group of “indigenous water protectors” in North Dakota.
