Kvicala new outreach coordinator for Methow Recycles

November 11, 2016 by Methow Valley News

Aspen Kvicala has been named outreach coordinator for Methow Recycles, the nonprofit recycling organization in Twisp.

The northern California native has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, according to a Methow Recycles press release.

“I learned at an early age that we have choices in the way we live our lives which can positively impact our planet and was determined to help others to want to make those choices,” said Kvicala. She is also the education coordinator for Classroom in Bloom.

Methow Valley Fund and Icicle Fund grants helped to fund the new position of outreach coordinator. The initial focus of her work will be building a community ambassador program and coordinate educational activities which further the mission of Methow Recycles.
