NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A LIMITED GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND AND CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Methow Valley School District No. 350, Okanogan County, Washington (the “District”) intends to issue a non-voted limited general obligation bond (the “Bond”) and will hold a public hearing on October 26, 2016, starting at 5:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Methow Valley Elementary School Boardroom, located at 18 Twin Lakes Road, Winthrop, Washington, for the purpose of hearing comments from the public on the proposed issuance of the Bond. Wolf Creek/Twin Lakes Water Storage Evaluation and Conceptual Design Proposal
The Methow Watershed Foundation is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Wolf Creek/Twin Lakes Water Storage Evaluation and Conceptual Design project. This project will evaluate the feasibility of a multi-purpose water supply project in the Methow River basin that would improve the reliability of the water supply for existing agricultural irrigation (Wolf Creek Reclamation District) while potentially providing instream flow benefits and an opportunity for enhancing municipal supplies for the towns of Winthrop and Twisp through increased delivery efficiencies, more efficient utilization and increased storage in Twin Lakes.
Tasks include; a water rights summary and site reconnaissance; developing a water balance/water budget and possible operational schemes; organizing and conducting stakeholder involvement; developing alternatives, and; producing a preliminary design of the selected alternative suitable for preparing grant funding applications.

Notice of Application and Threshold SEPA Determination
CUP 2016-6 “AT&T Carlson Tower”
An application has been submitted by Jennifer Taylor of Ryka Consulting on behalf of New Cingular Wireless PCS LCC, for a conditional use permit (CUP) to permit a new 102 foot self support tower with a four foot lightning rod in accordance with Okanogan County Code 17A.220.010. The structure will be constructed on a 12 foot x 12 foot square concrete foundation. The proposal is for a 102 foot tall lattice tower with a four foot lightning rod. The tower will hold AT&T antennas and equipment. This site is located at 2438 Cameron Lake Rd. Okanogan, WA on tax parcel number 3326341001. According to Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) regulations, the office of Okanogan County Planning and Development issued a threshold environmental determination of non-significance (DNS) for this proposal. The public hearing for this project has not yet been set. The public is welcome to comment on this project.
