METHOW VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT
EQUALIZATION MEETING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Methow Valley Irrigation District’s Board of Directors will conduct the annual equalization meeting on Tuesday October 10, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the River Bank in Twisp, Washington. The purpose of the meeting is to equalize assessments for the 2017 irrigation season. In the event the Board concludes the business that may come before it prior to 7:00 p.m., the Regular Meeting of the MVID will immediately follow the Equalization meeting.
The assessment roll is on file in the district office for the inspection of all persons interested. Upon the day specified in this notice, the Board of Directors, constituted a Board of Equalization for that purpose, shall meet and continue in session from day to day as long as may be necessary, not to exceed ten days, exclusive of Sundays, to hear and determine such objections to said assessment roll as may come before them; and the Board may change the same as may be just.
Any member who cannot attend the meeting is encouraged to submit a letter stating his or her comments to or request of the Board on or before October 3, 2016 to the district office at PO Box 860, Twisp, WA 98856.
All lands will be fully assessed unless the parcel owner petitions the Board to hear and determine if a reduced assessment is warranted. No lands will be equalized after this date. Questions may be directed to the District Office at (509) 997-2576.

FINAL DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE
PROPOSED REVISIONS TO OKANOGAN COUNTY CRITICAL AREAS ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan County Department of Planning & Development has published proposed revisions to the Okanogan County Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO) for public review. The SEPA Responsible Official has withdrawn the Determination of significance issued on January 4, 2009 and has issued a Threshold Determination of Non-Significance in accordance with WAC 197-11-360 (4) after review of an environmental checklist prepared for this proposal. The SEPA Responsible Official has determined there is no likelihood of probable, significant, and adverse impacts as a result of this proposal. The FEIS prepared for the revisions to OCC title 17A Zone Code is an attachment to the environmental checklist in accordance with WAC 197-11-600 (2).
The proposed draft of the CAO was reviewed by the Okanogan County Regional Planning Commission and has completed the 60 day review by the Department of Commerce. Adoption of the proposed revisions to the CAO will satisfy the procedural requirements of Revised Code of Washington 36.70A.130 (4) (d). The Board of County Commissioners has ordered that further review of the CAO be initiated soon after adoption of the proposed draft to satisfy the procedural requirements of RCW 36.70A.130 (5) (d) Comments regarding the threshold determination may be submitted in writing to the address listed below. Deadline for submitting comments regarding this threshold determination will be 5:00 pm, October 14, 2016. Date of publishing is September 28, 2016.

Notice of Application and Threshold SEPA Determination
CUP 2016-9 “Tonasket High Country”
An application has been submitted by Aaron James to permit a tier 3 marijuana producer grow in accordance with Okanogan County Code 17A.220.010. This legal, recreational cannabis grow will meet all licensing requirements with the Washington state Liquor and Cannabis Board and all WAC requirements for I-502. The CUP, if approved, would allow a fenced 2.5 acre growing area, four drying/storing buildings, five hoop house drying tunnels, a 200 square foot office building, a graveled parking lot for twenty vehicles and a turn-around loop for shipping and receiving. The site is located on Pine Creek Rd. approximately 6 miles southwest of Tonasket, WA on tax parcel number 3726343005.
According to Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) regulations, the office of Okanogan County Planning and Development issued a threshold environmental determination of non-significance (DNS) for this proposal. The public hearing for this project has not yet been set. The public is welcome to comment on this project. Project comments may be submitted in writing up to the hearing or be presented at the hearing.
