Painter Renee Kaup is the Confluence Gallery’s current artist-in-residence, a three-month program that began earlier this month and continues through Oct. 31.
Kaup’s work will be displayed in a solo exhibit at the gallery in Twisp from Oct. 15–Nov. 19.
Kaup creates still life and landscape paintings in oil, watercolor and pen and ink. Originally from Idaho, she recently moved to Winthrop. She received a BFA in painting and drawing from University of Utah. Kaup was a teaching artist from 2005–2012 in drawing, painting and printmaking at Gardenia Center, Sandpoint, Idaho.
