Comment on post-fire economic recovery

Okanogan County residents who have ideas about how the county can continue its economic recovery from the wildfires of 2014 and 2015 can now offer their thoughts on a website: www.okanoganeconomicrecovery.com/get-involved.

The website is a project of the North Central Washington Economic Development District, which working on post-fire economic recovery strategies. Feedback from the website will be used as part of the district’s process to develop an overall economic development plan.

Kurt Danison, steering committee chairman for the economic planning effort, said that “it is crucial that the people of Okanogan County share their ideas for the future through the commenting tool.”
