Twisp residents and business owners are invited to an open house Thursday evening (June 16) to learn about and comment on plans for economic revitalization in Twisp.
The open house will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. at TwispWorks, hosted by the Town of Twisp and SCJ Alliance, an urban planning consulting firm that is contracting with the town to develop a vision for Twisp that will encourage economic development and attract tourism.
The town received a grant from Washington state to develop the plan, which includes improvements to the downtown area to make it more inviting to pedestrians and consumers. SCJ Alliance has developed conceptual plans for key intersections and corridors within town.
Residents and business owners are invited to drop in any time during the open house to learn more.
