Colleen Braillard
1932–2015

May 19, 2016 by Methow Valley News

Colleen Braillard passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 4, 2015, with her loving husband at her side.

Colleen was born March 26, 1932, at Twisp to Ruby and Boyd Eiffert. She attended school in Twisp until her marriage to Jack Cramer. She was active in the Catholic Church in Twisp and served her family there.

After Jack’s death, she married Larry Braillard. They made their home in Snohomish, then in Coupeville on Whidbey Island. After Larry’s retirement, they moved to Swan Lake, Montana, and built their dream home with a beautiful view of the lake.

Colleen suffered a stroke, leaving her with a weakness on one side, in 2009.

She is survived by one sister, Lynn Bates and husband Arlin Bates of South Dakota; a brother, Rick Eiffert of Spokane; sons John Cramer and wife Carrie of Twisp, and Ron Cramer and wife Shannon of Winthrop; daughters Cindy Love and husband Monte of Swan Lake, Montana, and Diane Cramer of Swan Lake, Montana. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Colleen will be held at Beaver Creek Cemetery on Saturday (May 21) at 1 p.m. Following the service, a potluck dinner will be held at the Methow Valley Senior Center in Twisp.
