This week’s Mountain Lion of the week is senior soccer player Danny Rodriguez.
Danny is a positive presence throughout all he is involved in. He is a dependable student that teachers and peers can count on to be kind, respectful and humble. Danny was recently overheard at a difficult point in a soccer match reminding his teammates that they should “just play to have fun,” a great message.
Here is what the people nominating Danny had to say: “Danny has won the respect of his teammates, who elected him captain through his tireless work ethic, fearless physical tenacity, and inspirational play on the soccer field.” And, “He is a good, hard worker in class, and always strives to do his best. He treats others really well, and has a very positive attitude. He listens and respects adults.”
