This week we are honoring senior wrestler Jacob McMillan with the Mountain Lion of the Week award. Jacob recently qualified for the state wrestling tournament, and although we love that he’s a great wrestler, his leadership and personality are even more admirable than his athleticism.
The person who nominated Jacob said, “Jacob is a motivated student athlete whose attention to his athletic and academic goals provides an excellent example for other students. He is principled in his effort to balance athletics with academics, showing responsibility and leadership. He works to maintain an open mind and makes valuable contributions to our Independent Learning Center community.”
