Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office

Feb. 2

INJURED ANIMAL: An injured deer was reported on Highway 20 near Winthrop.

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported at a location on West Chewuch Road, Winthrop.

Feb. 4

WANTED PERSON: Officers were attempting to locate a possible warrant suspect on Raven Ridge Road, Twisp.

SEARCH AND RESCUE: A snowmobile accident was reported on a trail near Goat Peak.

Feb. 5

SEARCH AND RESCUE: Three snowmobilers were reported overdue from an outing near the Loup Loup summit.

Feb. 7

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: A person was reported to be staggering alongside the road in the vicinity of Highway 20 and Highway 153.

ASSAULT: Caller on Witte Road, Winthrop, reported that he went outside, and the person inside the house locked him out and them hit him with a board.

Twisp Police Department

Feb. 1

CIVIL MATTER: A civil dispute was reported on East Fifth Avenue. Caller said another person at the location had some items belonging to them and would not return the items.

Feb. 2

DISABLED VEHICLE: A disabled vehicle was reported on West Twisp Avenue, blocking traffic.

Feb. 4

EXTRA PATROL: Extra patrols were requested on West Twisp Avenue.

Feb. 5

EXTRA PATROL: Extra patrols were requested on Canyon Street.

Feb. 6

ASSAULT: An assault was reported on Canyon Street.

Feb. 7

CIVIL MATTER: A civil dispute was reported on Old Twisp Highway.

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported on East Methow Valley Highway.

Winthrop Marshal’s Office

Feb. 1

DISABLED VEHICLE: A disabled vehicle was reported at Center and Main streets.

Feb. 3

CIVIL MATTER: A civil dispute was reported on White Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Caller on White Avenue reported that someone apparently tried to enter their residence. Nothing was missing.

Okanogan County District Court

Eduardo Cruz Orozco, 23, of Carlton, pleaded guilty to reckless driving. He was sentenced to 364 days with 364 days suspended and fined a total of $1,143.

Christopher James Jack, 32, of Winthrop, pleaded guilty to possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle. He was sentenced to 90 days with 90 days suspended and fined a total of $613.
