Three Rivers Hospital seeks new board member

December 24, 2015 by Methow Valley News

The Three Rivers Hospital board of commissioners is accepting letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the board by the end of January.

The vacancy occurred when former commissioner and vice-chair Jerry Tretwold resigned, according to a press release from the hospital.

“We hope to attract candidates who are passionate about serving the communities within our hospital district, with an interest in learning about the changing climate of rural health care,” board Chair Vicki Orford said. “Three Rivers Hospital is making great strides in providing quality care in a fiscally responsible way, so it’s an exciting time to be a part of the team.”

The position is at-large, meaning any registered voter living within the hospital district may become a candidate. The district encompasses the Methow Valley, Brewster, Pateros, Bridgeport and Mansfield.

Letters of interest for commissioner Position No. 2 will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2016. They may be submitted via email to Administrative Assistant Jennifer Marshall at jmarshall@trhospital.net, or mailed to PO Box 577, Brewster, WA 98812.

The board will consider letters of interest and interview candidates during its next regular meeting at 8 a.m. on Jan. 26, in the Hillcrest Administration Building Commons Area, 415 Hospital Way, Brewster.
