Notes
We still have lots of sheets, towels, bathmats and pillows, and other whites. If you missed out on the first run there are still plenty to choose from. The Christmas Sale is going great with new things coming in every day, and there will be lots of great items out for the next big sale on Saturday (Dec. 5).
We’ll have tree stands, lights and ornaments, along with new boxed gifts and clothes, some with tags still on them. If you are looking for white elephant gifts or ugly sweaters, we have those too.
There will be blood pressure checks on Thursday before lunch. Fae will be happy to tell you how you are doing. There is no dance this month.
Stay warm and hope for some nice snow to insulate the ground before the pipes freeze. How about those Seahawks? Gets the heart pounding.
The Thrift Store is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.50 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.
