The storms that happened Tuesday (Nov. 17) took an enormous toll statewide. Although The Methow Valley escaped the worst of it, the damage in other locations may have some significant impacts locally. A bridge on Stevens Pass suffered severe erosion of its foundation. As a result, US 2 between Skykomish and the summit will remain closed until the damage is repaired. Read more on the WSDOT website.
