The Liberty Bell High School volleyball team saw its hope for post-season play diminished last week when it lost matches to Bridgeport, 3-2 at home, and Okanogan, 3-1 on the road.
Going into their final regular-season game on Tuesday (Oct. 27) against Manson, the Lady Lions were in sixth place in the Central Washington North League, with the top five teams going to the playoffs.
Liberty Bell, with a record of 5-8, was one game behind Manson, Lake Roosevelt and Tonasket, which were all tied for third place with records of 6-7. Brewster and Okanogan were tied for the league lead with identical 12-1 records.
