Trails coalition seeks board members
The Washington State Trails Coalition is looking for new board members who are passionate about trails.
The coalition is a network of trail organizations and individuals who care for, design and enjoy trails of all kinds. It includes snowmobile enthusiasts, goat packers, cyclists, trail runners and other trail users.
The board meets monthly by teleconference.

Ski swap coming soon
North Cascades Mountain Guides will partner with Winthrop Mountain Sports, Methow Valley Ski School, Methow Cycle and Sport, and Cascades Outdoor Store to once again host the Methow Valley Ski swap on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. – noon at the Winthrop Barn. The event raises money for the Methow Valley Nordic team.
Admission is $2 for shoppers; kids are admitted free. Vendors are asked to donate 15 percent of their sales. Set-up for vendors will be from 8 – 9:25 a.m. For more information, call 996-3194 or email info@ncmountainguides.com.
