Mary Neeley passed away on Sept. 25, 2015, at her home in Wenatchee. She was 89 years old.
Mary moved to Wenatchee last year to start yet another chapter in her life. She made a new home and great friends, as she was always able to do. Prior to moving to Wenatchee last year, she lived in Winthrop for 22 years, the place she whole-heartedly called home. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She was kind, caring, generous and so funny! She was full of life and always made people smile and laugh. Along with her family and friends, Mary enjoyed baking and was amazingly talented at crafts and sewing. She loved sharing her talents with everyone.
She is preceded in death by her son Michael Neeley and survived by her eight children: Maryann Stubblefield, Fred Neeley, Joanne Walton, David Neeley, Ken Neeley, Mark Neeley, Brian Neeley and Lori Campobasso. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory can be sent to Friendship Alliance Church, P.O. Box 336, Winthrop, WA 98862. Her final resting place is at the Sullivan Cemetery in Winthrop.
