Confluence Gallery will display the work of their most recent artist in residence, Perri Howard, at an exhibit that opens Jan. 8, 2016.

Seattle artist Perri Howard has been selected as the artist in residence at Confluence Gallery in Twisp through December. Howard will present works created during her residency at an exhibit on Jan. 8, 2016.
Howard’s resume includes shows and awards, as well as public art commissions, residencies and artist presentations around the world. She received her MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art and BFAs at both The Evergreen State College and University of Washington. Her artwork is in private and public collections from Seattle all the way to Tamil Nadu, India.
During her residency, Howard will create a body of work that examines the recent fires and the recovery efforts.
Howard recently joined the board of directors at the TwispWorks Foundation.
“My artistic expression has, since the beginning, involved the relationship between human perception and sense of place,” Howard said in a press release. “My paintings and prints are multi-layered, committing real places, imaginary landscapes, and perspectival lines as one seamless whole.”
