TOWN OF WINTHROP
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
FOR ENGINEERING, ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW,
CULTURAL RESOURCE AND SURVEYING SERVICES
The Town of Winthrop Washington is inviting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from consulting firms or a team of consulting firms interested in providing engineering, environmental review, cultural resource and/or survey services for general and project specific purposes, on an as as-needed basis. Example of services are as follows: Engineering services may be sought for grant application assistance; water, sewer or street project design and permitting; review of developer submittals of water, sewer, storm water, and road designs; structural engineering and assessments; and construction inspection. Environmental review services may be sought for the review of critical areas and mitigation reports for developments with potential to impact wetlands, aquifer recharge, habitat areas, frequently flooded areas and geologic hazard areas. Cultural resource services may be sought for survey and reporting on public works and recreation projects. Surveying services may be sought for a trail project and other general purposes.
SOQs should identify which categories of the services listed above the consultant is qualified to provide. SOQs will be reviewed and placed on file for one year, and may be used as a source from which to select one or more firms for any specific project or ongoing services. Selected firms or individuals must have proven ability in successfully completing similar projects, have the ability to perform project components in a timely and professional manner and be able to work cooperatively with the Town of Winthrop, funding agencies and other project participants. NOTICE OF APPLICATION
FINAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Michael Kutz, PO Box 553, Winthrop, WA 98862, has submitted application to the Town of Winthrop for final planned development (PD) approval, pursuant to Chapters 17.32, 19.02 & 19.04 of the Winthrop Municipal Code (WMC). The PD consists of an eight-unit residential development on a 1-acre lot in the Horizon Flat subdivision, in compliance with the allowed densities for the R-2 zone (WMC Chapter 17.20). The PD is proposed for Lot 24 of the Horizon Flat subdivision, parcel # 2890002400, in the Town of Winthrop.
All project information is available to be viewed at Winthrop Town Hall, 206 Riverside Avenue, Winthrop, WA between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Any person desiring to be notified of the action taken on this permit approval must do so no later than July 23, 2015.
Written comments received prior to 4 pm on July 23, 2015, will be entered into the record and relevant comments will be considered in a staff report to the Town Council.
