Confluence to open new show
Confluence Gallery in Twisp will host an opening-day reception for its next exhibit, “Hardscapes,” on July 18 from 4–8 p.m. The exhibit runs through Aug. 22. Confluence invited artists to “take a deeper look at how humans invent, design, and engineer structures and systems that alter the natural world around us; the beautiful and the ugly.” The show is curated by Salyna Gracie and Mare Nemeth. Davis exhibit in Leavenworth

SummerFest in Wenatchee
If you are in the Wenatchee area this weekend, you may want to check out SummerFest, a craft beer, music, food, and beer pong festival on Saturday (July 11) from 4-11 p.m. at the Town Toyota Center. The event will feature the Jimmy Buffett tribute band Tropical Storm, several other regional bands, a beer pong tournament with prizes, and food vendors. Cost is $15.
