METHOW VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT

NOTICE OF PETITION FOR EXCLUSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for exclusion of land has been filed with the Board of Directors of the Methow Valley Irrigation District.  The name of the petitioner and the land description, identified by the Okanogan County Assessor parcel number, to be excluded from the boundaries of the MVID without a water right, in Okanogan County, State of Washington, is as follows:

All persons interested in or who may be affected by the change of the boundaries of the District are to appear at the Regular Meeting of the MVID on the 13th day of July, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the River Bank Office, 206 Glover Street, in Twisp to show cause in writing, if any they have, why the change of the boundaries of the District, as proposed in the petition, should not be made. The failure of any person interested in said District to show cause in writing why the tract of land mentioned in said petition should not be excluded from the MVID shall be deemed and taken as an assent to such exclusion.

The Town of Winthrop is accepting sealed bids on the following surplus vehicle: 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 400 Hardtop Coupe, VIN #2W87Z7N202458. Used as a DARE and parade vehicle. Odometer Reading: 62,500. Minimum Bid:  $5,000.00

Vehicle is sold as is. Vehicle was originally purchased in Oroville, WA. More information on the vehicle is available at Winthrop Town Hall.  Sealed bid must be clearly marked and received by noon on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Payment must be in cash, money order or cashier’s check, upon acceptance of the vehicle, no later than noon on July 29, 2015. The Town of Winthrop reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Chechaquo Ranch – Pasayten Peak PDM 2015-2

Application & Threshold SEPA Determination

An application has been submitted in order to rezone a portion of Commercial Tract B of Chechaquo Ranch PUD in order to accommodate future development including but not limited to retail, tourist-residential units, a parking area expected to accommodate the Methow public trail system, and various other associated activities. The property is 4.11 acres and fronts both Goat Creek Road and Country Road, all within the community of Mazama, WA. Tax parcel numbers include: 3620300024, 6540000102, 6540000104, 6540000105, 6540000106, 6540000200, 8809400301, 8809400401. Project comments must be submitted in writing or attend the public hearing. The Okanogan County Hearing Examiner scheduled a public hearing on July 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., located in the Commissioners Hearing Room in the Virginia Grainger Administration Building at 123 5th Ave. North, Okanogan, WA 98840. The SEPA Responsible Official issued a final determination of non-significance (DNS). This decision may be appealed in accordance with OCC 14.04.220.  Appeals must be made in writing to the Office of Planning Department located at 123 5th Ave N Suite 130, Okanogan, WA 98840. Appeals must be submitted or postmarked by 5:00 pm on July 16, 2015. Appeals shall state with specificity the elements of the environmental checklist and resulting determination the appellant finds objectionable and shall state the reason therefore. Appeals must include the $300.00 appeal fee.  Failure to file a timely and complete appeal shall constitute waiver of all rights to an administrative appeal under county code. LEGAL NOTICE

Notice of Final Determination of Non-Significance for Proposed Revisions to Okanogan County Shoreline Master

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Okanogan County Department of Planning & Development has prepared revisions to the Okanogan County Shoreline Master Program and the SEPA Responsible Official has issued a Final Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) on this proposal in accordance with WAC 197-11-340(4).
Okanogan County Code 14.04.220(A)(1)(c) establishes no final determination regarding a legislative proposal may be appealed, unless the determination is connected to an appeal of the government’s final decision on the proposal. A copy of the Draft Shoreline Master Program and supporting documentation can be found at www.okanogancounty.org/planning/index.html.
