The 2015 Methow Singletrack Solstice — a weekend of challenging mountain bike riding, lots of socializing and fun prizes — will take place in and around Winthrop on June 26 –28.

All proceeds from the event support the Methow Chapter of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, whose mission is to improve mountain biking and trails in the Methow Valley. The Singletrack Solstice is the chapter’s biggest annual fundraiser.

Registration includes lunch on Saturday at the Chickadee Trailhead, breakfast Sunday at Mack Lloyd Park in Winthrop, a raffle ticket and a chance to win prizes.

Registration packet pick-up and check-in will be on Friday from 6-8 p.m. next to the ball field in Winthrop.
Saturday’s optional point-to-point ride begins with riders boarding a bus at the Winthrop Ice & Sports Rink for transport to Poplar Flat Campground on the Twisp River. The route will take participants down the Twisp River Trail, up Thompson Ridge, along Sun Mountain trails and back to Winthrop, a total of more than 30 miles.

For information, visit www.methowevergreenmtb.org/p/methow-singletrack-solstice.html.

Registration prices range from $20 to $125 depending on age and which options participants choose. To register, visit www.bikereg.com/methowsingletracksolstice.
