Mountain Lions soccer teams falls to Manson, 1-0, in OT

May 14, 2015 by Methow Valley News

Manson turned the tables on the Liberty Bell High School soccer team with a 1-0 overtime win on Thursday (April 30). The Mountain Lions had defeated Manson by the same score five days earlier.

“It was a close, evenly matched game,” Liberty Bell coach Lincoln Post said.

The coach cited the play of goalkeeper Mikey Hafsos along with defenders Brennen Quigley, Garrett Palm, Adrian Casillas and Danny Rodriguez, to keep the game
close.

“They have become a formidable force on the field. I have a lot of confidence in them heading into the post-season,” Post said.

The Mountain Lions were scheduled to face Okanogan at home on Tuesday (May 5), then host Omak on Thursday  (May 7) beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the last regular season game.
