Filing for elected offices that will be on Okanogan County’s November general election ballot must be completed by Friday (May 15). Candidates can file two ways:
• By submitting a Declaration of Candidacy by mail. Candidates can also come in to the auditor’s office from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. weekdays.
• Online at vote.wa.gov/okanogan.
Filing will close at 4 p.m. on Friday. Any candidate may withdraw in writing through May 18.
If needed, there will be a special three-day filing period, May 20-22, for non-partisan offices for which no one filed during the regular filing period.
Nonpartisan offices for which more than two candidates filed will appear on the primary election ballot.

• Hospital District No. 1 (Three Rivers Hospital). Commissioner position No. 2 (at large), six-year term, now held by Jerry R. Tretwold.
• Town of Twisp: Mayor, four-year term, now held by Soo Ing-Moody; council position No. 2, two-year unexpired term, now held by Aaron Studen; council position No. 3, four-year term, now held by Traci Day; council position No. 4, four-year term, now held by John Fleming; council position No. 5, four-year term, now held by Dwight Filer.
• Town of Winthrop: Council position No. 3, four-year term, now held by Gaile Bryant-Cannon; council position No. 4, short- and four-year term, now held by Jessica Sheehan; council position No. 5, short- and four-year term, now held by Vern Herrst.
