No prescribed burns planned
The U.S. Forest Service said earlier this week that it has no immediate plans for prescribed burning in the Methow Valley. Forest Service patrols are continuing to check out the areas burned in the Edelweiss and Rendezvous Pass areas recently. “We will continue patrols as needed, including on weekends, until we can declare the units out (cold, no heat, no smoke),” the Forest Service said in a press release.
