Rouse your brain from its winter hibernation: Trivia Night is back.
The Public School Funding Alliance’s seventh annual memory-challenging fundraiser is on April 27 at the Twisp River Pub.
Four-person teams compete in three rounds of written questions covering a wide range of topics including pop culture, literature, geography, sports, history, math, science, art, music, and even Methow Valley history.
The two highest-scoring teams will compete against Liberty Bell High School’s Knowledge Bowl team in a fast-paced oral round. Trophies and awards will be presented to the top two community teams. The evening will be hosted by Leverett Hubbard, Liberty Bell’s Knowledge Bowl coach.
Registration fees are $120 for teams of four, with a discount rate of $60 for Liberty Bell student teams. Entry fees include a pasta dinner catered by Stewart Dietz and a free beverage for each team member.
Spectators are welcome with a $20 donation at the door, which includes dinner and answer forms so spectators can play along during the competition. A cash bar will be available.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for socializing and dinner. The competition begins at 6 p.m.
Trivia teams must be registered by April 21; late registration ($150 per team) is available until noon on April 25. Register online at the Public School Funding Alliance website: www.methowvalleypsfa.org. Credit cards are accepted, or teams can register online and mail a check.
