April 3: Bus to Omak
April 14: Bus to Wenatchee
April 17: Over-80 party.
May 23: Western Sale
On Saturday we kicked off our Spring and Summer Sale. Where else can you buy a $400 dress with the price tag still on it for $10? The sale will run for a couple of weeks during our regular hours. There are still lots of items for Easter.
As soon as this sale is done we will be moving the Western Sale into the sale room and start setting it up.
The price of the lunches has gone up 25 cents, so now it is $3.50 as of April 1.
Our Over 80 Party is April 17. Hope to see a large crowd of 80- and 90-year olds and older.
Alice Glandon was the winner of the door prize gift basket last week.
The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays until April.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.50 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25. For more information, call 997-7722.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.
The lunch menu was not available by press time.
