Rural prosperity conference to be held at TwispWorks

April 2, 2015 by Methow Valley News

“Rural Pathways to Prosperity,” a conference organized by Washington State University’s Cooperative Extension office, will be hosted by TwispWorks on April 17 from 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

A WSU press release describes the conference as “a day of inspiration, learning and regional networking to create jobs and improve your economy, add value to your existing rural businesses, encourage new entrepreneurs and engage with a national expert all without leaving your community.” Twenty sites will simultaneously participate in the conference, which begins with a keynote presentation via webinar by author Erik Pages. The rest of the day’s activities will be at TwispWorks. The registration fee is $30, with a $25 early bird special through April 10. For more information, visit waruralprosperity.wsu.edu or call Alison Gillette at TwispWorks, (509) 997-3300.
