March 28: Spring Sale starts

April 17: Over-80 party.

Notes

Don’t forget to come to our Spring Sale, starting on Saturday (March 28) at 9 a.m. There will be all kinds of spring and summer clothing available. It won’t be long before our over-80 party on April 17th. We are planning a Hawaiian party, so plan to dress accordingly.

The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays until April.

The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp

. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.25 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25. For more information, call 997-7722.

Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.

THURSDAY, MARCH 26: Chili mac casserole, seasoned corn, Caesar salad, peaches, corn bread, cookies.

FRIDAY, MARCH 27: Barbecue pork sandwich, pea-and-cheese salad, coleslaw, apricots, brownies.

MONDAY, MARCH 30: Shepherd’s pie, mixed vegetables, Caesar salad, pears, whole wheat roll, cookies.
