March 17: Bus to Wenatchee
March 19: Bingo
March 28: Spring and Summer Sale starts
Notes
Spring must be here. We had a large group of dancers on Friday, in here kicking up their heels. The over-the-hill bunch and the down-the-valley group all showed up. I hope I am as spry as they are when I get that age. Come join us the first Friday of the month for lunch, and the dancing afterwards helps burn off all those calories. Check our Facebook page for pictures.
The Spring Fling Tea at the Winthrop Barn’s date has been changed to April 11.
Our Over 80 party is set for April 17. This year we are planning a few extra fun things. Think Hawaii.
The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays until April.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.25 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25. For more information, call 997-7722.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.
