Betty Lou Meyers

Betty Lou Meyers, of Winthrop, passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2015. She was born in Seattle on May 10, 1931. Betty and her husband, Chuck, established the KOA Campground in Winthrop in 1974, thereby gathering many friends over the years. She was a loving mother and a good friend. Betty was preceded in death by her husband in 1986. She leaves behind her children Jim Meyers (Kathy), Mike Meyers (Mary Sukovaty), Laurie Meyers (Tim Anderson), as well as grandchildren Libby and Dana Anderson, Jamie (Jeff) Bredstrand, Bryan (Vicki) Meyers, and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Madison Meyers. Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial will be held at a later date.
