There will be a dance featuring the Hottell Ragtime Jazz Band on Friday (March 6) beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The AARP will assist with taxes at The Cove 2. Call 997-3352 for an appointment.
Lloyd Bjerge was the winner of the February gift basket. Hope he enjoys the coconut and the rest of the goodies. Marjory Wilkinson is the senior of the month for March.
Bev and her helpers are hurrying to get the Spring and Summer Sale ready for its opening on March. There are so many cute summer clothes and shoes, and also Easter clothes, bunnies and baskets. Come check it out.
Some of our snowbirds should be flying back soon. We will put them to work and then all of us die-hards who stayed and had to tough out the winter can take a vacation.
The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays until April.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $3.25 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25. For more information, call 997-7722.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call the Senior Center at 997-7722 for additional details.

THURSDAY, MARCH 5: Chili-and-cheese-stuffed baked potato, trio vegetables, green salad, pineapple, corn bread, frosted cake.
FRIDAY, MARCH 6: Lasagna, Caesar salad, carrots, chilled pears, garlic bread, ice cream.
MONDAY, MARCH 9: Meat loaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered corn, tossed vegetable salad, fruit cocktail, whole wheat roll.
THURSDAY, MARCH 12: Pork roast, stuffing, green beans, broccoli salad, applesauce, biscuits.
FRIDAY, MARCH 13: Chicken Parmesan, garlic noodles, mixed vegetables, apricots, whole wheat roll, brownies.
