Notice of Extended Comment Period. Threshold Determination of Non-Significance for Proposed Revisions to Okanogan County Shoreline Master Program. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the SEPA Responsible Official has ordered an extended comment period on the above entitled matter. Okanogan County Department of Planning & Development has prepared an environmental checklist for proposed revisions to the Okanogan County Shoreline Master Program. The initial 30 day comment period on the proposed revisions and environmental documents has been extended as noted below. The SEPA responsible official has prepared an amended Environmental checklist and has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) on this proposal in accordance with WAC 197-11-340(4). Having reviewed the plan and comparing it with the old plan, it is the determination of the SEPA Responsible Official that the changes in the new plan do not create a reasonable probability of more impact on the environment. For that reason the Determination of Significance issued on January 14, 2009 was withdrawn by the SEPA responsible official on May 14, 2014 and has been replaced with this Determination of Non-Significance in accordance with WAC 197-11-360(4). The SEPA responsible official has ordered an extended comment period on the DNS. Questions or comments regarding this determination and the Shoreline Master Program may be submitted in writing to the address listed below or electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for comments regarding this determination will be 5:00 pm March 18, 2015. Date of Publishing is February 25, 2015.
