KELLIE PETERS has been appointed as personal representative (“personal representative”) of this estate. Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the personal representative or the personal representative’s attorney at the address stated below a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the later of: (1) 30 days after the personal representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c); or (2) four months after the date of first publication of the notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and RCW 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and nonprobate assets.

Are you interested in planning for the future of Twisp? The Town has recently restructured the Planning Commission and reestablished a Parks and Recreation Commission. The Town has four open positions on the Planning Commission. The planning commission consists of five members, two of which shall be residents of the town of Twisp. The Town has five open positions on the Parks and Recreation Commission, the first and second positions shall be from citizens who reside in the Town of Twisp and the third, fourth and fifth positions may be at-large all with a strong interest in parks and recreation programs, services, and planning. Both Commissions will meet 1-2 times per month. Applications are available at Town Hall or at http://www.townoftwisp.com/index.php/forms-applications/ . Wolf Creek Reclamation District. Notice to Contractors and Vendors. In accordance with RCW 39.04.190 and RCW 39.04.155 and as authorized by the Board of Directors, Wolf Creek Reclamation District is now accepting applications for its 2015 Vendor List and Small Works Roster. The Vendor List will cover purchase materials, supplies and equipment estimated to cost between $40,000.00 and $50,000.00. The Small Works Roster will cover projects estimated to cost $100,000.00 or less.

Notice of Extended Comment Period. Threshold Determination of Non-Significance for Proposed Revisions to Okanogan County Shoreline Master Program. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the SEPA Responsible Official has ordered an extended comment period on the above entitled matter. Okanogan County Department of Planning & Development has prepared an environmental checklist for proposed revisions to the Okanogan County Shoreline Master Program. The initial 30 day comment period on the proposed revisions and environmental documents has been extended as noted below. The SEPA responsible official has prepared an amended Environmental checklist and has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) on this proposal in accordance with WAC 197-11-340(4). Having reviewed the plan and comparing it with the old plan, it is the determination of the SEPA Responsible Official that the changes in the new plan do not create a reasonable probability of more impact on the environment. For that reason the Determination of Significance issued on January 14, 2009 was withdrawn by the SEPA responsible official on May 14, 2014 and has been replaced with this Determination of Non-Significance in accordance with WAC 197-11-360(4). The SEPA responsible official has ordered an extended comment period on the DNS. Questions or comments regarding this determination and the Shoreline Master Program may be submitted in writing to the address listed below or electronically to phuston@co.okanogan.wa.us. Deadline for comments regarding this determination will be 5:00 pm March 18, 2015. Date of Publishing is February 25, 2015.
