Celebrate Mardi Gras in the Methow with design studio EVRYBDY and creative agency Alchemy On Demand at an open house in the Gateway Building at TwispWorks on Friday (Feb. 20) from 4 – 7 p.m. The two creative firms have recently joined forces and would like to show off their shared workspace and collaborative potential, according to Leslee Goodman, owner of Alchemy On Demand.
The firms will have samples of their marketing and communications work on display, and encourage people to come in and ask questions, Goodman said. And in honor of Fat Tuesday (on Friday) they will be serving up gumbo shooters, beer and Mardi Gras-themed music, she said.
“We are not merging companies, but combining skill sets,” said Goodman, who is co-hosting the party along with EVRYBDY’s Corin McDonald.
The companies share an office at TwispWorks, where they can combine their skills and experience in branding, copywriting, design, public relations and website development, Goodman said.
To help explain what a creative agency does, Goodman shared Alchemy On Demand’s “elevator pitch” — “It doesn’t matter how great your product, service, or idea is if no one knows about it. We tell the world. Alchemy On Demand is a full-service publi
c relations and communications agency with a passion for telling the stories of people and organizations who are making a difference. We tell who you are, what you do, and why it matters.”
“There are a lot of really great things happening in this valley that are of interest in the larger world,” said Goodman, who sees TwispWorks as an economic engine where the energies of many creative people can be combined, she said.
Alchemy On Demand joined EVRYBDY in TwispWorks’ Gateway Building in December. The studio space was designed and built by McDonald for his business, Partnership+ Studio, recently renamed EVRYBDY.
McDonald and Goodman initially joined forces last summer to collaborate on a proposal for a countywide media and communications plan to encourage visitors to come to Okanogan County after the Carlton Complex Fire. The contract was awarded to an out-of-valley firm, but working together under severe time constraints made the team’s potential obvious, Goodman said.
