Jan. 27

SEARCH AND RESCUE: A search and rescue effort was underway for a snowmobile rider who was with a group of seven other men on a ride from the Cub Creek Trailhead, in the Gardner Hut area.

CITIZEN ASSIST: An elderly man and woman who were locked out of a residence on Surface Lane, Twisp, and had been out in the cold for an hour or so, asked assistance in breaking down a door because they did not want to call a locksmith.

TRESPASSING: Caller on Highway 153, Methow, reported that a vehicle was parked on their property and they believed the vehicle’s owner might be looking for deer sheds.

Jan. 29

ACCIDENT: A roll-over accident was reported at Winthrop Fish Hatchery Road and Twin Lakes Road.

INTOXICATION: Caller on Witte Road, Winthrop, asked that her husband be removed from the residence because he was intoxicated; the husband said he was not intoxicated.

Jan. 30

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: It was reported that an intoxicated man was walking on South Glover Street in Twisp and was drinking.

Feb. 1

ACCIDENT: A non-injury accident was reported on Twin Lakes Road, Winthrop. The vehicle’s occupants told the caller they were OK but seemed to be intoxicated.

Feb. 2

TRESPASS: Caller on Old Carlton Road reported that a man was using his shop without permission.

FRAUD: Person on Chokecherry Road, Winthrop, reported a wallet lost, apparently in Winthrop a couple of weeks earlier, and that a debit card had been used.

Feb. 4

ACCIDENT: A non-injury, non-blocking accident was reported on Twisp-Winthrop Eastside Road.

Jan. 27

FRAUD: Caller on Riverside Avenue reported that her social security number was being used by an unauthorized person, and had been since July 2014.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Caller reported “slamming and screaming” going on at a location on Canyon Street, suggested that minors might be involved, and said it was an ongoing problem.

TRESPASSING: A trespassing incident was reported on North Glover Street.

Jan. 28

ACCIDENT: A hit-and-run accident was reported at East Twisp Avenue and North Glover Street, where a truck was struck on one side and showed damage.

Jan. 27

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED: A driver was cited and released on Riverside Avenue.

Jan. 30

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: There was an attempt to locate a 70-year-old man in the vicinity of Norfolk Road.

Jan. 31

INJURED ANMIAL: An injured animal was reported on Highway 20.

Feb. 2

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Responded to a report of a domestic dispute on East Second Avenue in Twisp, where an 8-year-old child was with his grandmother and was throwing things around the house and could not be calmed down.

Feb. 3

FRAUD: A fraud incident was reported on Castle Avenue.

Feb. 4

TRAFFIC OFFENSE: A traffic offense was reported on Riverside Avenue.
