Doggie Dash makes its return

February 5, 2015 by Methow Valley News

The Doggie Dash is back.

Cancelled last year because of a lack of snow, the madcap dog race/costume party/generally amusing spectacle returns on Feb. 15 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Winthrop Town Trailhead.

Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. and is by donation. Kids under 12 can register for free. And of course, spectators get to hang around for no charge.

There will be prizes for the best costumes.

For more information, call Pat Leigh at 996-3303.

The event is sponsored by the Methow Valley Nordic Team, Methow Trails, Winthrop Veterinary Services, Supertails Pet Grooming, Methow Mitts, Rover’s Ranch, Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Mountain Paws, Three Rivers Training and Twisp Feed and Rental.
