Although we are closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday, the center is a beehive of volunteer workers, sorting, cleaning and preparing for the next big sales. In the dining room, several ladies were busy pricing and storing things for the Western Sale, which is Memorial Day weekend.
I think everyone is wishing for some sunshine. All this fog and gloom is not good for the morale and it makes you low on vitamin D. So get a bottle of D and get some sun back in your system. Helps ward off colds and flu, too.
The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. We are now closed on Saturdays until next April.
