Liberty Bell wrestlers Meritt Fink, left, Trent Skelton and Emmett Fink came home with medals — and Skelton with the winner’s belt in his weight class — at the prestigious Gut Check Challenge wrestling tournament at the Evergreen State College in Olympia last weekend. Each of the Fink brothers took fifth place in their weight divisions. The Mountain Lions finished 18th out of about about 50 teams at the two-day tournament, which featured about 400 high school wrestlers from around the region. Tournament director and founder Marc Kaye called the event the “highest level competitive wrestling tournament in the state,” according to an article in the Olympian newspaper.
